NEW FRONT OF TERMINAL ARRANGEMENTS

In light of new heightend security measures introduced at UK airports we have made some changes regarding access to our front of terminal.

However while arrangements for vehicles have changed, passengers have experienced minimal disruption as a result of these measures.

We continue to make further improvements to the access roads, pathways and car parks to keep things running as smoothly as possible.

Front of Terminal Access Roads

We have been required to close the inside two lanes along the front of the terminal. The only exception to this provision is emergency service vehicles.

Pick Up and Drop Off

All pick ups and drop offs will continue to take place in car park 2 where the 10 minute free of charge period remains unchanged. This car park is now solely for the use of cars, 4x4 passenger vehicles and similar. Vans, buses, mini buses, trucks etc are not permitted into car park 2. Such large vehicles and enclosed vehicles should now use car park 1.

Car Parks

Car parks 3 and 7 remain unaffected.

Car Park Shuttle Buses

These buses now drop off in the public bus stops located on the A79. Passengers crossing to the far side are requested to use the railway bridge located in the terminal building. Car park buses pick up at the entrance to car park 3.

Buses - Stagecoach

These buses are using the public bus stops on the A79. Access to buses destined for Glasgow and the north can be accessed from the railway bridge located in the terminal building.

Coaches, X99 and other chartered buses

These buses will pick up and drop off at the back of Car Park 1. Any coach parties should call ahead on 0870 118 1844 to advise us of your arrival.

Taxis

Ayr Black Taxis (ABT) are the Airport’s authorised taxi company. These taxis are located outside the main terminal exit within Car Park 2.

Delivery Trucks and Contractor Vehicles

Large delivery trucks should report to the attendant at the entrance to the terminal who will arrange for a search to be undertaken on your vehicle before access can be provided to Hudson Place.
